Settat, Morocco (6/12) In addition to being a guest lecturer and presenting papers at the International Seminar, Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. also had the opportunity to be a speaker at a seminar to commemorate World Arabic Language Day at the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Humanities, Hassan Awwal University, Settat, Morocco. He delivered the material in front of the audience (lecturers and students) with the title "The Position of Arabic in Indonesia". The seminar was held at 11:00-13:00 on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in the Convention Hall, University Rectorate building.

The seminar was also filled by several lecturers from Morocco as commentators, including Dr. HalimaTahiri, Dr. Mourad elKhatibi and guided by moderator Dr. Fouad Larhzizer. Then Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. delivered a lot of material related to Arabic in Indonesia which of course this was an interesting material for Moroccan students. They considered that Indonesia is very good at using Arabic because Arabic in Morocco has experienced many changes in lahzah because it was influenced by French.

The purpose of this seminar is to introduce Moroccan students and lecturers to the development of Arabic in Indonesia. Morocco as an Arab country whose main language is certainly Arabic, makes academics very interested in knowing more about how Arabic in Indonesia is studied? How do Indonesian people develop Arabic language proficiency? All this was explained in detail in this seminar.
