Master Lecturer of BSA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Teaching at Hassan Awwal University, Settat, Morocco

Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. was asked to be a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Humanity, University of Hassan Awwal, Settat, Morocco. He delivered material for the Indonesian Culture course to Moroccan students in 3 different classes, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 08:30-10:00 and 12:30-14:00 and Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 08:30-10:00 Moroccan time.

Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. explained that his trip to Morocco and being a guest lecturer at Hassan Awwal University was one of the valuable experiences: "This teaching experience in Morocco is very important for me as an Arabic lecturer at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, because I not only teach material related to Indonesian culture to Moroccan students, but I can also introduce more details about the development of Arabic in Indonesia, more precisely the way of learning and teaching Arabic at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta."

The enthusiasm of the students here was so great in listening to material related to Indonesian culture, especially since Indonesia has been well known as a polite and cultured nation. As a country with a population of 275 million, Indonesia is able to be known as a Malay nation that has good integrity and has good diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Morocco. Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. also explained to the students that Indonesia and Morocco basically already have strong ties with each other.
